What's your opinion on black jokes???

Me,as a black 13 year old,find some black jokes to be funny while other's are offensive.Even the offensive ones when told by the "right" persons can be funny. i'm not saying all black jokes are good i'm just saying some are and some aren't.we have blonde jokes and those are hilarious to me and maybe it's becz i'm not blonde but i'm sure if a blonde heard a blonde joke from a redhead she'd be offended.if i heard a black joke whether funny or not from someone other than someone i know personally and is black like me i would totally offended. basically wat's your opinon on the subect?

Well, being a black male, I think I can help. It really depends on the person telling the joke, and the context of that joke. I must admit though, some Black jokes are pretty funny. I also have seen first hand that some Black jokes are in really bad taste.

Some are funny, and some go to far.
you cant compare a blonde to a black person. a blonde can easily change his/her hair color tomorrow. a black person remains black forever...unless they pull a micheal jackson of course
I think it is healthy to laugh at yourself once in a while
some you can laugh at, others take it too far
I think ANY joke is funny(white,black,asian,latino..etc jokes), as long as it's a joke

If someone says a black joke they will gang up on you like Jena 6 and beat you and call Al Sharpton and mae him yapp and bring up slavery and talk about ignorance and the hell would never end.

But yet its perfectly fine to say "chiny eyes" or make "hong twang noises" or make fun of poor jackie chan in rush hour 1 and 2 and 3. If I said Gay Z looks like a porno monkey you would say im racist.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just get your ideas about right and wrong sorted out, and don't be afraid not to laugh if it isn't funny. When enough people stop laughing, the joke tellers will change their tunes or go away.

But personally, people can tell jokes all day about one appearance or another and I won't care. It's when VALUES are under assault that my defenses go up.
if the person saying them can handle jokes about their race that are offensive, then they can crack a few ***** jokes.

but if you cant dish it, u shouldnt serve it.
Personally I think if a joke is funny - it's funny. Every group of people has something unique about them, and if a tastefully joke is told comparing the differences in people most of the time they are funny no matter what group it's about - whites,blacks,blonde's,men,women, southerns,northerners,husbands and wives to name a few. I wish people would "lighten up" and not take these jokes so seriously. They're jokes , they are suppose to be funny!!

I don't like jokes that are mean or offensive.
Well I can relate to them most of the time if they're being told by a black comedian
