he jokes about liking me....like he will put his arm around me with a big smile on his face...he has several times.. n he stares at me - sometimes on purpose just to be a joke and sometimes seriously. he also calls me babe sometimes and waves at me when he sees me and smiles at me....i don't know if this is just a joke coz last friday we were jokin about going out with each other......but a guy jokes with a girl about liking her does it mean he is?? oh help me plz!

thats a hard question to answer but i kno a way to find out. u need to be brave and tlk to him about it. ask him if he is seriously interested in a relationship or if it's a big joke. if hes a good guy he should respect ur questions and feelings and let u kno and not be a d*ck about it. good luck =]

It depends..there is a good chance that he really likes you but if he is a big flirt (i know the type), he could be just..being himself. If u notice he does this to a lot of girls, dont get TO excited..but hey, he may like you ;) good luck!

He does. Anytime someone makes habitual jokes of this sort, they are probably afraid of saying outright to avoid rejection. He does like you. If the "jokes" continue, just ask him. In a direct, but polite way. He may be intimidated or just afraid.
Sometimes they really like you and sometimes they dont realize that you are really into them so they dont think messing around is a big deal,

Best thing to do is joke back at him in the same way he does. (If you like him) Drop in a serious question about dating or something sexual while joking around. see what his response is. Try seeing how long you can keep him looking at you if he catches your eye. Try play fighting.
